What would you like to tell your daughter? What do you wish you could tell – or have told – your mother before it's too late? What do your friendships mean to you? Is there a particular friend who's brought you back from the brink?
So, please use this site to say whatever you need. You might want to share advice on how to deal with relationships; you might want to offer up a personal insight; you might simply want to tell us how much you love your mother or daughter or friend; and you might want to share words of wisdom for future generations of women.
I love my mum so much. She isn't dead, she isn't separate from me, but I just want everyone to know how much she means to me. She has been my rock when times have been bad, and my best supporter when times have been good. Even through all my problems of growing up, she was always there for me. If I wanted to get something of my chest, I knew I could go to her and she wouldn't utter a word of our conversation to even my dad. It is the most amazing feeling to have someone who's your best friend, whilst alsomaking motherly comments. Obviously, my mum can nag a lot, but know that I am older, I know that it is for my own good.
I LOVE YOU MUM, ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL. YOU MAKE ME THE PERSON I AM TODAY!

I enjoyed the book with tears & laughter. My mum died of Cancer 29 years ago, reading the book brought those memories back like yesterday. I was a teenager at that time hope I was not too much trouble for my mum, I was struggling to grow up and did't take much interest in her condition. My daughter has never met my mum. I have so much to tell her, I have started to write a journal like Barbara.

Your birth completed my dream of having a daughter. Not the little princess I had expected, but a firey tempered, hands on hips, single-minded, capable child. I sometimes felt in awe of you; that one so young could think so deeply and understand so much. As you grew up, I often wondered who was looking after who. So many times you've listened to my problems and helped me find a way through life, without ever taking sides or making judgments. There have been no secrets; I have told you everything; good and bad; funny and sad. If I tell you too many times how much you mean to mean and how much I love you, its because I never take what we have for granted. My precious daughter.
In you, I discovered that best friend I never had. Your smile lights up my day and I'm so proud of you as a person; not for what you have achieved in life. I could not have wished for a better daughter, or hoped for a better friend. I only hope that I have lived up to your expectations as a mother, and that one day I will watch you with your own daughter, and be able to smile and reminisce on a life blessed.
